Wow, what an absolutely tragic loss. Peter Lenz, the young road racing sensation, passed away during a warm-up lap yesterday morning.
He had a feel for the bike that was positively other worldly. I remember the first time I saw a video of him riding. He was on a 125, and was being followed by a camera bike. You could see that on the straights, Peter was clearly limited by the lack of top end on the 125, but in the corners, it was sublime watching the highly experience lap-record holder struggle to keep with Peter in the corners. It gave me goose bumps just watching it. It was the same feeling as seeing a young musician who clearly had a gift. Peter’s ability was so natural. He made it look like he didn’t even need to try.
It has been a joy watching from afar as Peters career has progressed, as he gradually made steps forward. It seemed a foregone conclusion that he would eventually race MotoGP. Only a matter of time.
Words cannot describe the enormity of this loss. Hy heart goes out to his family, friends, and all others who were close to him. Ride in peace Peter. http://www.epicrider.net/1j98vsf

That could be a total BMW killer! Stoking that motor out should also add torque, which is just what you need for dual sport/adventure bike use. I’ve liked Triumphs for quite a while now, so I’m definitely following. If you hear any more, I’d love to hear about it! The 675 motor is already known [...]

Supposed to be based on 675 triple, stroked (?) to 770cc. BMW killer!! Looks like one sweet bike, from the pics of the headlight and knobby tires I’ve seen LOL Sure going to check it out anyway.
