I would like to invite everybody to join the Epic Rider Kiva microfinance team. The idea here is to help entrepreneurs in developing countries who are using motorcycles to improve lives. We have already funded a motorcycle taxi operator named Erik Akossou in Togo, Choy Yee, a 61-year old Cambodian woman who uses a motorcycle to transport produce, and we are now hoping to get Francisco Jora Pay of Bolivia the last $475 he needs to purchase a motorcycle for his motorcycle taxi driver service.

Please join us, and help Epic Rider support riders around the world!

Wow, I’m out of date. Got an ignitor from Ignitech in the Czech Republic. $200. Had some tuning issues so I smoked a couple of coils, but the TBS is running sweet now! Since July LOL

Wow, what an absolutely tragic loss. Peter Lenz, the young road racing sensation, passed away during a warm-up lap yesterday morning.

He had a feel for the bike that was positively other worldly. I remember the first time I saw a video of him riding. He was on a 125, and was being followed by a camera bike. You could see that on the straights, Peter was clearly limited by the lack of top end on the 125, but in the corners, it was sublime watching the highly experience lap-record holder struggle to keep with Peter in the corners. It gave me goose bumps just watching it. It was the same feeling as seeing a young musician who clearly had a gift. Peter’s ability was so natural. He made it look like he didn’t even need to try.

It has been a joy watching from afar as Peters career has progressed, as he gradually made steps forward. It seemed a foregone conclusion that he would eventually race MotoGP. Only a matter of time.

Words cannot describe the enormity of this loss. Hy heart goes out to his family, friends, and all others who were close to him. Ride in peace Peter. http://www.epicrider.net/1j98vsf
